Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love has shown massive improvements over the last three games and he is one of the reasons why Green Bay is on a three-game winning streak. The Packers took down the Kansas City Chiefs (8-4) on Sunday night football by a final score of 27-19.
Love completed 25-of-36 passes for 267 yards and three touchdowns in the contest. He looked sharp on the opening drive of the football game and he threw a one-yard touchdown pass to Ben Sims in the first quarter.
The other two touchdowns that Love threw in the game were to Christian Watson on a 9-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter and a 12-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter. Watson caught seven passes for 71 yards receiving and two touchdowns in the contest. He left the game with an injury in the fourth quarter.
Romeo Doubs led the Packers in receiving with four receptions for 72 yards receiving. Love has been on the same page with all of the wide receivers for the last few weeks.
Love has thrown for 857 yards and eight touchdowns, along with zero interceptions over the last three games. Green Bay is starting to see something with him and there were many questions with him when they were 3-6 and now they are being answered.
Green Bay Packers Quarterback Jordan Love On Pace For Over 4,000 Yards
Packers quarterback Jordan Love has thrown for 2,866 yards, 22 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions so far this season. He has also completed 61.3% of his passes. With five games remaining in the 2023 NFL regular season, Love is on pace to throw for over 4,000 yards this season.
Another thing is that he can also throw for over 30 touchdowns once the season ends. This is the progress that the Packers fans wanted to see with him after struggling early on in the season. Previously, the Packers had Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers as their franchise quarterbacks.
Love appears to be answering the questions lately about being Green Bay’s next franchise quarterback. Head coach Matt LaFleur deserves credit for being patient in his development and general manager Brian Gutekunst deserves some credit as well.
