Jayden Reed is a major offensive weapon for the Green Bay Packers, and he’s even showing that on the ground this season. The talented Packers wide receiver has already 70 rushing yards on just 10 carries through two games. In Week 2’s 16-10 home win over the Indianapolis Colts, Reed rushed two times for a gain of 37 yards. Back in Week 1, Reed rushed once for 33 yards and a touchdown.
The Green Bay Packers are incorporating Jayden Reed into their rushing attack
So far in the 2024 NFL regular season, Reed is leading all wide receivers in the NFL in terms of rushing yards.

#Packers WR Jayden Reed leads NFL WRs in rushing yards with 70. All three of his carries have gained 10+ yards.

To put that into perspective, Reed has more rushing yards than many NFL running, backs including the likes of Zamir White of the Las Vegas Raiders (68 rushing yards on 22 carries), Ezekiel Elliott of the Dallas Cowboys (56 rushing yards on 16 carries), Rachaad White of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (49 rushing yards on 25 carries), and Austin Ekeler of the Washington Commanders (48 rushing yards on 10 carries).
Reed’s rushing score in Week 1 versus the Philadelphia Eagles was his (and the Packers’) first touchdown of the season.
The Packers are being extra creative and resourceful on offense, particularly on the ground, with Jordan Love nursing an injury, so it wouldn’t come as a huge surprise if Reed gets some touches out of the backfield again in Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans on the road.
