Green Bay has been no stranger to the injury bug early this season. Each week it seems they have been missing at least one difference maker. Ahead of the Buccaneers game Christian Watson was a surprise scratch from the line-up. Meanwhile David Bakhtiari got his first real action in nearly two years. Heading into week four, the Green Bay Packers look to have the healthiest team to date.
Best Injury News Of Season So Far?
Jaire Alexander, Christian Watson, David Bakhtiari, and Elgton Jenkins all seem to be a “go” for Sunday Vs the Patriots. The only player who sat out today was OT Caleb Jones with an illness. Here is Rob Demovsky’s full report:
All present for the Packers’ Friday practice, but OT Caleb Jones (illness) was not participating.
Jaire Alexander (groin) looked like a go. Same for Bakhtiari, Jenkins, Watson et al at least for the start. pic.twitter.com/Fs3pNLleCT

This will be the first game since week two that both Watson and Doubs will be on the field on the same time. In that week two match-up Vs Chicago Doubs and Watson combined for six targets, five receptions, and 36 yards. That is a far cry from Doubs’ 8 reception, 73 yard, and one touchdown performance against Tampa Bay in week three. Doubs and Watson have the potential to compliment each other extremely well.
With Elgton Jenkins and David Bakhtiari both practicing, this offensive line gets another week to gel together. Aaron Rodgers was only sacked on time vs the Buccaneers. That was while Bakhtiari and Yosh Nijman were rotating series. With David Bakhtiari voicing his displeasure about the rotation, it will be interesting to see if he gets the full workload in week four. He may have earned it with his performance. He was the highest graded pass blocker for the Packers in week three.
Official Packers’ Injury Report:
Jaire Alexander and Caleb Jones are the only ones listed. Jaire being questionable and Caleb Jones is out. This is the healthiest Green Bay has been all season long (with the exception of Sammy Watkins’ on IR):
Jaire Alexander (groin) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Patriots.
OT Caleb Jones (illness) is out.
Everyone else is good to go.
