Green Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks is proving himself week-by-week for this football team. He is getting more chances to prove himself, and Wicks was the leading receiver for the Packers in a 23-20 win at home over the Los Angeles Chargers.

Dontayvion Wicks caught three passes for 91 yards receiving and averaged 30.3 yards per reception. He was targeted five times in this contest by quarterback Jordan Love. The only thing is that Wicks left the game in the fourth quarter with a head injury.
It will be interesting to see what his injury status will be in a short week. They will be going on the road on Thanksgiving Day to face the Detroit Lions (8-2). Wicks, so far this season, has caught 20 passes for 331 yards receiving and one touchdown. He is averaging 16.5 yards per reception.
Over the last five games that Wicks has played in, his receiving yards have gone up each and every single week. The week before against the Pittsburgh Steelers, he caught four passes for 51 yards receiving and averaged 17.0 yards per reception.

If Dontayvion Wicks is healthy for Week 12, he would be worth the waiver wire pick-up in fantasy football if he has not been claimed yet in your fantasy football leagues.
Dontayvion Wicks Only Plays 24 Snaps For the Green Bay Packers Against the Los Angeles Chargers

Wicks only had 24 offensive snaps against the Chargers on Sunday. Green Bay’s offense had a total of 72 snaps. It is a very good thing that he is making the most of his opportunity, and it would be very interesting to see when he can crack his first 100-yard career game.
It has yet to happen this season for any Packers wide receiver, and Wicks may have the best chance to do it if he were to get more snaps. For all of the criticism general manager Brian Gutekunst has received this year, this is one of the best late gems picks he could have possibly made.
Over the last 45 seasons, Dontayvion Wicks is the only Packers rookie with three receptions of 25-plus yards in a game, per the Elias Sports Bureau.

There is still time left this season for him to get even better. Wicks has been targeted 32 times this season by quarterback Jordan Love. When Love targets Wicks this season, his passer rating is 107.6.
He is having a better season than Christian Watson. Watson has been targeted 37 times and has caught 16 passes for 257 yards receiving and two touchdowns. He is averaging 16.1 yards per reception.
Wicks has proven to be the third wide receiver on this team over the last couple of weeks. He is right behind Romeo Doubs and Jayden Reed.
