The Green Bay Packers are in the midst of a brand-new era. Jordan Love and company made Packer nation proud by going down to Solider Field and taking care of business in Week One. However, that doesn’t mean they won’t pay attention to some of their former players throughout the league. One of those names include star wide receiver Davante Adams, who is currently unable to practice.
Former Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Unable To Practice After Suffering Foot Injury
A foot injury kept Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams from practicing on Wednesday ahead of their Buffalo Bills game in Week 2.
On Wednesday, Adams was added to the injury report. The severity of the injury is yet to be determined. Jakobi Meyers (concussion) and Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle) also did not practice.
The Raiders got off to a solid start this season by defeating the Denver Broncos 17-16 in Denver. Adams had a quiet day (relatively speaking) with only 6 receptions for 66 yards and no scores. He was targeted 9 times in the contest. The Raiders’ offense is clearly better with Adams on the field, fans are hopeful he will get back out there sooner rather than later.
It should be noted that Adams missed multiple games for the Packers in 2019 with turf toe. Those types of injuries can have lingering effects. We hope it isn’t anything relate to that similar injury.
