Former Green Bay Packers superstar Davante Adams played his second game of the season for his new team, the Las Vegas Raiders, on Sunday. The three-time All-Pro wide receiver marked his second appearance for the Raiders with his first touchdown of the season, but unfortunately, Adams was unable to come out of the game unscathed.
Ex-Green Bay Packers Star Davante Adams Off the Mark for Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders got off to a hot start on this one with the team drawing first blood in the game via a Jimmy Garoppolo-Davante Adams touchdown early in the first quarter. Adams opened his account for the Raiders with his first TD for his new team as he gave Las Vegas a 7-0 lead two minutes into the contest.

Unfortunately, that was all she wrote for the Raiders. Las Vegas was able to score a field goal in the second quarter but other than that, the Bills turned this game into a blowout. Buffalo marked their first win of the season following their disappointing Week 1 loss to an Aaron Rodger-less New York Jets. Adams and the Raiders, on the other hand, suffered their first loss of the campaign, 38-10.
Davante Adams Evaluated for Concussion

To make matters worse for Adams and the Raiders, the six-time Pro Bowler was forced to exit the game in the fourth quarter after a scary head injury:

Adams took an unnecessary hit from Bills safety Taylor Rapp on an incomplete pass from Garoppolo, and the Raiders star immediately fell to the ground after the violent-looking tackle. Adams had to be taken to the locker room and was unable to return.
It was reported after the game that the Raiders fear that Adams may have suffered a concussion and that he will be evaluated for the same:

This is an unfortunate turn of events for both Adams and the Raiders. At this point, it is unclear if the 30-year-old will be available for Las Vegas’ next game when they take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3.
