Former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams has had a tumultuous 2023 season. Las Vegas has climbed back to a 3-3 record, however, Adams has made it clear he isn’t happy with everything going on in the front office. Although the Raiders have won two straight games, Davante Adams has played less of a role in the offense with each victory.
Adams has seen his target total drop from 20 in Las Vegas’ Week 3 loss to Pittsburgh to 13, four, and five in games since then. Between his last two games, he has caught just six passes for 74 yards. Although the Raiders’ offensive diversity has benefited them, Adams is not exactly satisfied with his current position. With all of this being said, a new team has emerged to land Adams if he were to be traded.
The Buffalo Bills Emerge As Favorites To Land Former Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Davante Adams
Clark Dalton highlighted the massive shift in odds:
Trade rumors are gaining traction after WR Davante Adams voiced frustrations about his role with the Las Vegas Raiders. One surprising landing spot has emerged as the favorite.
Per BetOnline.ag, the Buffalo Bills have the best odds (4/1) to acquire the six-time Pro Bowler if he were traded before the deadline on Oct. 31. It would be an excellent move for Buffalo because Adams and WR Stefon Diggs would form one of the best tandems in the league.
As speculations mount around Davante Adams’ future with the Raiders, #BillsMafia has emerged as the #1 landing spot.

Still, a trade is unlikely. Jeremy Fowler of ESPN recently reported the 30-year-old “has been set on playing in Las Vegas long-term.” Also, he’s entering the second year of a five-year, $130M contract. Teams may not have the cap space to accommodate this deal, and he may not be willing to renegotiate.
However, the Raiders should keep him happy and target him more. Even though they’ve won two straight games, Adams’ role has diminished. He’s only logged six receptions for 74 yards on nine targets over the past two games.
“I’m sure people are thinking, ‘They won the game, why is there an issue?’ I mean, you see why it’s an issue,” Adams said Wednesday, via ESPN’s Paul Gutierrez. “When you’re a player like me, mentally, my benchmark is not wins and losses — it’s greatness. So when I go out there, I expect to put that on tape and have an influence on the game.”
Would The Buffalo Bills Target Actually Target Davante Adams?
As far as talent goes, there may not be a better match available this deadline. Essentially, the only targets worth paying attention to in Buffalo’s receiver corps is Stefon Diggs.
Despite that, before the Adams trade kindling can be called a fire, there has to be a lot more smoke. It would be tough to make the money work, and the Raiders would have to give up an elite receiver.
Nevertheless, Adams would add fireworks to this offense and re-establish Buffalo as a Super Bowl contender. Bills could end their season in early January due to injuries to their defense and concerns about their non-Diggs supporting cast. The addition of Adams would them to the elites of NFL offenses.
