The Green Bay Packers have made several signings this week and have cut a cornerback from the 2022 season to make room on their 90-man roster. On Wednesday afternoon, the Packers announced the official signing of third-round pick Tucker Musgrave and punter Daniel Whelan. General manager Brian Guetkunst also announced the Packers claimed offensive lineman DJ Scaife off waivers.

“Franklin spent the first six weeks of the 2022 season on Green Bay’s practice squad and then re-signed with the Packers on Jan. 10, 2023.”
Franklin spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars last season before he signed with the Packers last September.
The Packers still have plenty of questions about the secondary head of practices next week. But it appears Franklin will not be one of the solutions for Joe Barry this season. The Packers’ first organized practice for OTAs will begin Monday, May 22.
