The Green Bay Packers looked dead to rights after a 2-5 start. Offensively they looked completely out of sorts but in the past four weeks have looked much better. Running back AJ Dillon appeared on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football and was asked about the team’s stunning turnaround.

Green Bay Packers AJ Dillon Talks Team’s Turnaround
Dillon talked about how it was all a mentality by the team. They knew that this year was going to be a little bit of a process and there might be bumps in the road. The team never got discouraged and kept working on the little things each week. Everyone was on the same page and was working towards a common goal, getting to compete for a Super Bowl. Dillon made it clear that no matter what happens, win or lose, the team looks at what they can do better and how they can improve. It is a great mentality for this team to have and it clearly has paid off.
Steady Improvement
While there are definitely things to iron out, this team looks better and better every week. The offense that we watched versus the Chiefs was not the same offense that was playing the Raiders earlier in the season. What impresses me most about this team is what Dillon was talking about. Everyone seems to be on the same page. No one seems to be quitting or getting discouraged by the losing. Take Pittsburgh for example. Last night, George Pickens was visibly frustrated on the field and on the sidelines. Minkah Fitzpatrick called out his teammates after the game. There is none of that going on in Green Bay. They hold each other and themselves accountable.
It hasn’t always been pretty for the Green Bay Packers this season but this young team is fun to watch. Can they make it into the playoffs in Jordan Love‘s first year as a starter? If they can, it would be huge for this very young team.
