The Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys wound up facing each other in the 2023 NFL playoffs. Half way through the season not many anticipated that matchup coming in the first round of the playoffs (or at all for that matter). The Packers dominated that matchup and once again ended the Cowboys’ season earlier than their fans expected.
However, one starter may wind up switching from the Green and Gold to the Blue and White.
The Dallas Cowboys May Poach Former Green Bay Packers Starter

The Cowboys suffered without a power back since Ezekiel Elliott left to sign with the New England Patriots. Tony Pollard is an efficient runner, but he didn’t show what it takes to be a full-time running back.
Moreover, Pollard himself is also a free agent. Dillon is exactly what the Cowboys need: a powerful runner, even though not explosive, and he isn’t expected to make a lot of money in free agency.
Running back AJ Dillon is one of the pending free agents for the Green Bay Packers in the spring. Dillon, 25, missed both playoff games due to injury. It doesn’t feel like he’ll be a starting running back in this league, but many certainly think he can be a quality number-two.
Over the course of the regular season, Dillon rushed for 613 yards on 178 attempts and scored two touchdowns.On average, he gained 3.4 yards per carry.Additionally, Dillon caught 22 passes for 223 yards and zero touchdowns.
The Packers could very well be revamping their running back position (which would start by KEEPING Aaron Jones). However, with the Packers showing actual interest in trading for Jonathan Taylor last season coupled with the draft and free agency, it is very possible the team looks at other options moving forward.
