The Golden State Warriors get to host the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night in what is expected to be a tight encounter between these two sides.
The Dubs have been without Andrew Wiggins for the last four games due to a serious family matter. Fortunately for Golden State, the former All-Star was able to finally re-join the team on Tuesday. The big question now is this: Is Andrew Wiggins playing tonight vs. the Bucks?
Golden State Warriors Star Andrew Wiggins Good to Go Vs. Bucks
According to multiple reports, Wiggins returned to San Francisco on Monday. He was a full participant in practice on Tuesday with the expectation of the 29-year-old returning to action on Wednesday against the Bucks.
Kendra Andrews of ESPN reported on Tuesday that Warriors head coach Steve Kerr himself confirmed that Wiggins will be available to play against Milwaukee:
“Wiggins will play tomorrow against the Bucks, Steve Kerr says. His minute load isn’t decided, but it’s likely that Wiggins will start,” Andrews reported.
Andrew Wiggins Speaks Out on Absence
Wiggins has already spoken out about his mysterious absence, but he did not provide any details as to what led to his four-game hiatus:
“Just taking care of what I had to take care of, and being present for what I have to be present for.” Wiggins said, via Monte Poole of NBC Sports. “I think this is the appropriate time to come back. That’s what I felt like. So, I’m back here with the team and ready to get to it.”
The important thing is that he’s back. So, with regard to the question of is Andrew Wiggins playing tonight vs. the Bucks, the answer is yes.
