With all the talent that the Milwaukee Bucks have on the court, it is oftentimes easy to forget the amazing talent that they have off the court as well. Last night, Jim Paschke and Zora Stephenson were honored with Emmy Awards at the Chicago/Midwest Regional Emmy Awards.
Jim Paschke, who is now retired, recently had the media room at Fiserv Forum named after him in a special ceremony before the Bucks game against the Miami Heat. Zora Stephenson made history last season when she filled in for Paschke on a television broadcast. She became the first African American woman to call play-by-play games for a Bucks television broadcast.
Jim Paschke and Giannis Antetokounmpo: Together Again
Is there a more lovable reporter/player relationship than that of Jim Paschke and Giannis Antetokounmpo? When the Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA Finals, Giannis did his postgame interviews wearing a I Heart Jim T-shirt. Paschke was not able to attend the series due to COVID-19. At the ring ceremony against Brooklyn earlier this year, Paschke revealed a I Heart Giannis T-shirt under his suit coat.
