    Giannis moves into Top 20 all-time in 40/10 statistic

    Giannis Antetokounmpo had 42 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Bucks in their 128-119 win over New Orleans on Monday night. It was the fourth game this season with 40+ points for Giannis, and the third game in 2022 with 40/10.

    With his 42 points and 10 rebounds, Giannis moved into 20th place on the NBA all-time list for most career games with 40+ points and 10+ rebounds. He now has 24 games with 40/10. He passed Rick Barry and Kevin Durant who each have 23 such games.

    Wilt is the GOAT in this stat

    There’s a good chance that the leader of 40/10 games will never be caught. Wilt Chamberlain had 271 games in his career with 40 or more points and 10 or more rebounds. Second on the list is Elgin Baylor with 78. The active player with the most 40/10 games is Anthony Davis with 32. Davis is tied for ninth place on the list.

    Giannis is second to Kareem on the Bucks’ 40/10 list

    Giannis is second on the Bucks’ all-time list for 40/10 games with his 24. Sitting at the top of this stat is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar who had 53 40/10 games as a Buck. Four other Bucks’ players had one game each where they had 40+ points and 10+ rebounds: Marques Johnson, Sidney Moncrief, Ray Allen, and Khris Middleton.
