For those Packers fans on Twitter, there was nothing more enjoyable than being able to interact with former Packers quarterback Kurt Benkert on Twitter. Now a free agent, Benkert still interacts with fans of the Packers often. Another former Packers quarterback, perhaps one whom fans have not given a second thought to for years, also took to Twitter today to engage Packers fans: Rich Campbell.

Former Packers Quarterback Rich Campbell Got Silly on Twitter
Of course, whenever anyone debates who their favorite quarterback was in Packers history, there are generally three names thrown out: Aaron Rodgers, Brett Favre, and Bart Starr. Some will even name Lynn Dickey as their favorite. No one, of course, will name Rich Campbell, who was drafted by the Packers to replace Bart Starr. Campbell, unfortunately, did not pan out. He played just seven games in four seasons, starting none of them. He had just three touchdowns against nine interceptions.
Still, though, he sure endeared himself to a new generation of Packers fans with this Tweet:
Seems like a great time to run this poll:
Who is your favorite Green Bay Packers quarterback?
A. Brett Favre
B. Aaron Rodgers
C. Rich Campbell— Rich Campbell (@RCampbellmc58) September 14, 2022
Campbell is not delusional as to the unproductivity of his career. That is why his replies to comments on his Tweet are so funny.
Tony, that was my ONLY Packers moment. LOL. https://t.co/PzcOHV0pgp

Haha. Who is that guy?!

Perhaps what is even more funny were his responses to Packers great James Lofton’s response to his question.
Who is this Lynn Dickey guy piling up votes? https://t.co/yg3Bz1Gheg

A little-known NFL receiver has broadened the scope of my poll. What does he know about quarterbacks?
Not happy about this. Not happy at all. https://t.co/yg3Bz1Gheg

Campbell obviously had a pretty forgettable career. Few Packers fans of the new generation may have even heard of him. However, these interactions go to show, once again, how different the legacy of the Packers is to that of any other team.
