While the rating adjusters over at Madden may have disrespected the wide receiving corps, they did get De’Vondre Campbell right. Campbell was one of the best inside linebackers in the NFL last year and his All-Pro honor was recognition of that. However Madden also doubled down and gave Campbell some of the best ratings for ILBs in the entire game.
De’Vondre Campbell’s Rating:
While 87 isn’t bad at all, it would feel he was slighted a little in his rating. Campbell certainly ha d a better season than many of the guys ahead of him. Not to mention he was the center of Green Bay’s defense all year. Even with the overall rating being lower than expected, Madden did recognize De’Vondre Campbell in one key stat. Tackling.
Campbell has a near perfect, and NFL best, 97 tackle rating. When he gets his hands on you, you aren’t getting away. NFL players definitely take notice to these ratings across the league. Each and every year players in involved with their madden rating. This year was no different as De’Vondre Campbell reacted to his 97 tackle rating.
One of my favorite coaches once told me “If you good at something make sure it shows up on tape all the time” over the course of my football career I’ve always been a sure tackler and it’s something I pride myself in 🙏🏿 https://t.co/gfNH5YW5TS

The All-Pro started in 16 games in 2021, recorded 2 INTs, 5 pass deflections, 2 forced fumbles, and 146 total tackles. He looks to build on that great season in 2022 after earning his 5 year, $50 million dollar contract.
