The Milwaukee Bucks were certainly punched in the mouth early in Memphis. The Grizzlies came out swinging (figuratively) and all the Bucks did was sit back and watch. Well, that’s not exactly true in the most unfortunate sense. Khris Middleton purposefully tripped Dillon Brooks of the Grizzlies, resulting in a flagrant one.

It was a dirty play, that much is certain. Middleton should know better. Unfortunately, his night did not improve.
Bucks Fans Were Unhappy with Middleton’s Flagrant Play
To the credit of Milwaukee Bucks fans, they were highly critical of Middleton for what he did to earn that flagrant one call:
Saw that one all the way. A very uncharacteristic play from Khris Middleton. Dillon Brooks was standing over him, then he grabbed Brooks’ ankle and pulled him to the ground.
The play is being reviewed to see if it should be upgraded to a flagrant from a personal foul.

So Khris Middleton just hooked Dillon Brooks leg and brought him down, which is what's being reviewed. 3 mins in and it's already chippy.

As mentioned, it was a completely dirty play. Middleton deserves all the criticism he got (and will get) for it.
The cherry on top of it all was that Middleton’s foul on Brooks seemed to light a fire under the Grizzlies star. He put the clamps down on Middleton, holding him to 0-8 from the floor in the first half. Indeed, this may well be the worst game of Middleton’s career. He has had just an abysmal game.
The Bucks and their fans will certainly hope for better play and sportsmanship from him going forward.
