This has to be the definition of a roller coaster offseason for the Green Bay Packers and their fans. From wondering whether or not Aaron Rodgers was going to return to finding out that he was. There was joy when Davante Adams was tagged, and a quick bout of the five stages of grief when he was traded. Za’Darius Smith was cut, but Preston Smith was extended. Billy Turner and Lucas Patrick are gone, but De’Vondre Campbell and Rasul Douglas are back. Now, in a move many were wondering would happen, Robert Tonyan has agreed to return to the Green Bay Packers. Tom Silverstein was the first to report the agreement.

The Terms of the Robert Tonyan Contract
The official terms of the contract agreed upon by the Packers and Robert Tonyan have not been released. However, spotrac.com assessed his market value at $10.8 million per season. It is important to note, as Silverstein tweeted, that his deal is for one year. It includes a voidable year for salary cap purposes. This means that the Packers can push part of this contract’s cap hit to next season when the cap will be higher.
