The Green Bay Packers are going into the 2024 season with Jordan Love under center for the second consecutive season. Their hope is that it will wind up being 15-20 season under center. His pending contract extension will likely be announced in the very near future.
However, the Packers have decided to bring in another quarterback to possibly compete for the backup job behind Love.
The Green Bay Packers Bring In One More Quarterback Prior To Training Camp

According to Mike Simmons of Pro Football Talk:
The Packers are taking a look at another quarterback.
Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Jake Fromm worked out for Green Bay on Friday.
Fromm, 25, was a Bills fifth-round pick back in 2020. He’s also spent time with the Giants and Commanders.
Fromm appeared in three games with two starts for New York in 2021 and has not played a regular-season game since. He completed 27-of-60 passes for 210 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions.
The Packers currently have Sean Clifford and Michael Pratt on their roster behind starting QB Jordan Love.
The Packers spent years not prioritizing the backup quarterback position throughout the 2010s. When/if Aaron Rodgers went down with an injury, there was very little confidence the backup could keep things afloat.
However, the Packers have drafted a quarterback in late rounds of the NFL Draft two years in a row and are now working out National Champion Jake Fromm. It is apparent the Packers are making sure they have the best man for the job in the event Love is forced to miss time due to injury.
