The move that so many have been waiting for has finally happened. Aaron Rodgers has signed a new contract with the Green Bay Packers. The deal is for three years and $150 million, but is a little more complicated than that.

The big question, of course, is what does this do for the Packers salary cap? In short, it saves the Packers $18 million off of his cap hit. Before this deal, Rodgers was set to count for $46 million against the cap. Now, his cap hit is roughly $28 million.
