Two scoring threats out of Wednesday’s practice
On Christmas Day, the Green Bay Packers had four players go down with injuries against the Miami Dolphins. Head coach Matt LaFleur said on Monday that Christian Watson, Keisean Nixon, and Yosh Nijman would be day-to-day this week. LaFleur offered an update before Wednesday’s practice.
Watson and Nixon are two athletes the Packers need healthy as they try and win out for a playoff spot in the next two weeks. Nixon has been the key to the Packers’ recent success on special teams. Watson has been the Packers’ best wide receiver since the game against the Dallas Cowboys. The Packers hinted at issues at wide receiver as they signed Bo Melton to the active roster from the Seattle Seahawks.
According to Matt Schneidman with The Athletic, Watson and Nixon will miss Wednesday’s practice.
No Christian Watson or Keisean Nixon at practice today, LaFleur says.

David Bakhtiari will be limited.
LaFleur hasn’t heard if Yosh Nijman will practice yet.
David Bakhtiari will practice, but he’ll be limited. Nijman’s status is currently unclear.
During his appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Aaron Rodgers hinted that Bakhtiari and Nixon would play against the Minnesota Vikings. However, he’ll need to progress better than what Wednesday’s injury report will show. Watson and Nixon would be hard for the Packers to replace in Week 17. They’ve been essential to the Packers three game winning streak.
