As minicamp continues with no sign of Aaron Rodgers, the Packers have signed another quarterback, Jake Dolegala. He is now the fifth quarterback on the roster, joining Rodgers, Jordan Love, Blake Bortles, and Kurt Benkert.
Dolegala was with the Packers as a tryout player over the last three days of minicamp. He impressed enough to earn a spot on the roster for now. The Packers are releasing defensive lineman Anthony Rush to make room for Dolegala on the 90-man offseason roster, per GM Brian Gutekunst.

The Bengals signed Dolegala as an undrafted free agent in 2019 out of Central Connecticut State. The 6’7”, 242-pound quarterback helped lead the FCS program to their first playoff berth in program history. As a Blue Devil, he completed 654 of 1,136 passes (57.6 pct.) and set school records for career passing yards (8,129) and passing touchdowns (48). After spending his entire rookie season with Cincinnati, Dolegala was released. He spent most of last season with New England on their practice squad.
