Packers’ Keisean Nixon’s injury status was revealed Monday
The Green Bay Packers’ dangerous return man, Keisean Nixon, had to leave the game against the Miami Dolphins Sunday. The Packers had several impactful players go down with injuries on Christmas. The Packers were able to overcome four injuries and a double-digit deficit to beat the Dolphins and improve their chances for a postseason.
Nixon has been an exciting replacement on special teams for Amari Rodgers. Nixon is a threat to flip field position every time he fields the ball. He had a massive return against the Dolphins before he had to come out with a groin injury.
Head coach Matt LaFleur provided an update on Nixon’s injury during his Monday press conference. According to Zach Jacobson with CBS Sports, LaFleur said Nixon is day-to-day. So it appears Nixon does not have a major injury, although he could miss the Minnesota Vikings game on New Year’s Day.
Injury updates from Matt LaFleur just now.

Christian Watson: day-to-day
Yosh Nijman: day-to-day
Keisean Nixon: day-to-day
So… yeah. All avoided significant injury.
The Packers need Nixon to be healthy for the next two weeks. He’s been an essential part of the Packers’ three-game win streak. The Packers need him and wide receiver Christian Watson to be healthy. Those two players are a significant reason the Packers have been able to put up points recently.

The Hackett firing is ugly, he did ok w/ Packers. NFL is tough business when you don’t win. Perhaps GB will find a place for him in future..???
