The Green Bay Packers (2-2) will face the Las Vegas Raiders (1-3) on Monday Night Football tonight. Many injury updates have been coming out leading up to the game. According to Tom Pelissero on X, the Packers starting running back will likely be unavailable to play in Vegas.
Green Bay Packers RB Likely Out Against The Las Vegas Raiders
The Packers have been without a running game lately. Starting running back Aaron Jones did return against the loss to the Detroit Lions but only had five rushes during the game. Coming into Monday night, the Green Bay Packers running back’s status is not looking good via X:

Aaron Jones had been limited in practice before the game against the Raiders. So, this is certainly not what fans of the Green Bay Packers want to hear.
Packers Running Game
In the Packers’ loss to the Detroit Lions, they only had a total of 27 yards on 10 carries combined from Jones and backup running back AJ Dillon. Dillon had five carries for 11 yards throughout the entire game against the Lions. This was not a great statistic for the Green Bay Packers offense in Week 4.

Green Bay usually relies on Aaron Jones to carry the load. But, he had missed the last two games previous to the Detroit Lions due to a hamstring injury.
Packers Offense Without Jones
The Green Bay Packers may be without their starting running back, which means that AJ Dillon will get the bulk of the carries in Las Vegas on Monday Night. In some way, they have to establish a rushing attack that can help with the passing game. Recently, Packers head coach Matt Lafleur commented on Jordan Love’s chemistry with his young wide receivers.
Second-year wideout Romeo Doubs has been the Packers’ number-one target since Christian Watson was out due to a hamstring injury. Rookie Jayden Reed has also been a downfield threat in recent weeks. This will be key in the Green Bay Packers’ success tonight in Las Vegas.
It will be Davante Adams’ first game against the Packers since being traded to the Raiders after last season.
