The Green Bay Packers could be without Aaron Jones in Week 5 after he returned to the game field in Week 4. Jones has been battling a hamstring injury since the Packers’ win over the Chicago Bears in Week 1.
Jones missed two games before returning for the Packers’ Thursday Night Football game against the Detroit Lions. The Packers’ star running back had just 18 yards on five carries in the blowout loss to the Lions.
Jones didn’t look entirely healthy in the effort. He was limited in practice for much of this week as he is still healing from the hamstring injury. It didn’t appear Jones was fully ready to go against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5.
Aaron Jones is questionable for the Green Bay Packers in Week 5
According to Adam Schefter with ESPN, Jones is listed as questionable to play the Raiders in Week 5. Cornerback Jaire Alexander is also questionable. Alexander is dealing with a back injury.

While many Packers fans want Jones to return, it doesn’t make sense to rush him back, especially if he cannot be effective.
AJ Dillon needs to set up against the Raiders. He’s averaging just 2.7 yards a carry this season. While some of the Packers’ running issues are due to the beat-up offensive line, Dillon has not played well. Dillon will likely get another chance to show he can be an effective running back for the Packers.
