The Green Bay Packers are able to retain one of their best defenders. De’Vondre Campbell is coming back to Green Bay on a 5 year 50 Million dollar deal. An incredible resigning for the Packers’ front office.
De’Vondre Campbell back to Green Bay for 5-years and $50M, per @BillHuberSI. Great get Bill. https://t.co/fHZoTr6Roj

Why is Campbell so important to Green Bay’s Defense?
In terms of overall grade, De’Vondre Campbell was the highest-graded off-ball linebacker at Pro Football Focus in 2021. He is the Packers’ first linebacker to be voted to the first-team All-Pro team since Ray Nitschke in 1966. Campbell also ranks among the top-10 off-ball linebackers in the league in defensive snaps played since he was drafted in 2016. He hasn’t missed significant action in his six-year career.
According to Pro Football Focus, Campbell was the only linebacker with at least 80 solo tackles this season who had fewer than double-digit missed tackles. PFF credited him with just four.
In coverage, against the run, or everything in between… Green Bay has found their inside linebacker they’ve been missing for over a decade, and locked him down.
Blake Martinez is earning more money than De’Vondre Campbell.
I can’t stress how big of a steal this is for Green Bay.
