Milwaukee Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Milwaukee Bucks fired head coach Mike Budenholzer after another disappointing showing in the NBA Playoffs. Despite winning the NBA Championship in 2021, Coach Bud’s lack of game-to-game and in-game adjustments cost the Bucks numerous times. For years, Bucks fans have been frustrated with his lineups during games and his inability to counter when his opponents adjusted to his strategy. However, one national talking head, Colin Cowherd, believes that Giannis Antetokounmpo is the real person to blame for Budenholzer’s dismissal. Expectations For All 13 Packers Rookies (2023 NFL Coverage)

The Green Bay Packers used their first round pick (#13 overall) to take edge rusher Lukas Van Ness out of Iowa. Van Ness joins seven other former first round picks on a Packers defense that will hope to be much improved in 2023. Van Ness, nicknamed Hercules, did not start any games at Iowa, though did find himself on the field for more snaps than the starting edge rushers. Still, many fans are already calling him a bust and a reach. In his month column on packers.com where he answers five fan questions, President and CEO Mark Murphy responded to…

Milwaukee Bucks Nick Nurse Mike Budenholzer

The Milwaukee Bucks made the unfortunate decision to fire head coach Mike Budenholzer. This was an unfortunate decision because it meant that, once again, the team failed to live up to expectations. The irony is that it was Coach Budenholzer himself who created those expectations. Under Jason Kidd, the Bucks won less than half of the regular season games. Coach Budenholzer won nearly 70% of his regular season games as Milwaukee’s head coach and won a NBA Championship. Green Bay Packers edge rusher Rashan Gary

The Green Bay Packers are hoping that Rashan Gary will be able to start this season on their active roster. The exciting pass rusher tore his ACL last year, limiting him to nine games and 6.0 sacks. He was on pace to surpass his 2021 total of 9.5 sacks in 16 games. As far as we know, he is recovering nicely and will be able to play at some point this season, whether that is at the beginning or towards midseason, we do not know yet. However, one thing we do know is that Gary achieved something that is absolutely…

Green Bay Packers Joe Barry way too early 2024 mock draft

The Green Bay Packers are going to look incredibly different in 2023 than they did in 2022, and hopefully it is for the better. Of course, the Packers are going forward with Jordan Love instead of Aaron Rodgers and they have a plethora of first and second year wide receivers instead of veterans Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb (both of whom followed Rodgers to the Jets). However, perhaps the biggest change that needs to be seen in 2023 is a vastly improved defense. Green Bay currently has eight former first round picks on their defense, and to say they have…

It’s just a locker in the Green Bay Packers locker room, but it has been the location for many interviews, team meetings, and overall greatness for 18 years. It’s Aaron Rodgers’ locker. At least it was. Since Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets, his locker has been reassigned. Jordan Love already has a locker, so Rodgers’ vacated one has been assigned to one of the new rookies: quarterback Sean Clifford out of Penn State. The Milwaukee Bucks had a truly disappointing end to what was the best regular season in the NBA this season. After their 4-1 series loss to the Miami Heat in the opening round of the NBA Playoffs, the Bucks made the decision to fire head coach Mike Budenholzer. After Budenholzer’s dismissal, NBA analysts, once again, started speculating about Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future in Milwaukee. Brian Windhorst went so far as to say the New York Knicks are not even 100% focused on their playoff series because they are keeping an eye on what is going down in Milwaukee. Multiple NBA Writers…

Green Bay Packers Wisconsin Badgers

When the Aaron Rodgers trade talks with the New York Jets first started, many fans and analysts wanted the Green Bay Packers to get a veteran wide receiver as part of their return. Elijah Moore was the player most mentioned, but he was traded to the Cleveland Browns for the 42nd overall pick, which in turn was traded to the Packers as part of the Rodgers trade. After Moore was traded, there was some speculation that Corey Davis could be included in a trade to Green Bay. Of course, that did not happen. Still, there was speculation that the Packers…

Green Bay Packers Keisean Nixon

The Green Bay Packers did not make many attempts to sign outside free agents. Rather, they focused their energy on retaining the free agents from their own team that they felt they needed to in order to build a competitive team around Jordan Love. One of these players was All Pro return specialist Keisean Nixon who, despite being the Packers’ kick returner for about half of the season, led the NFL in returns (35) and return yards (1,009). He also had the longest kick return in the NFL last season, a 105-yard return for a touchdown. As it turns out,…

Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst loves drafts picks. “As many as I can get,” he told reporters on Day Two of the NFL Draft that saw him trade down in the second round twice, collecting two extra draft picks in the process. Well, there is some great news for Gutekunst and the Packers front office: so far, the team is projected to have three extra compensatory picks in next year’s draft.
