Aaron Rodgers seemed pretty excited following the New York Jets’ victory over the Denver Broncos Sunday. The matchup was much hyped before the game after Broncos head coach Sean Payton belittled former Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett. Hackett lasted 15 games in Denver before the Broncos fired him. He took a job with the Jets to be Rodgers’ offensive coordinator this season. Payton said Hackett was one of the head coaches in league history this summer. Jets players came to Hackett’s defense Sunday. They used profanity-laced statements aimed at Payton when they walked out of the tunnel to…

The Las Vegas Raiders have a question at QB1 this week because of injury, but they could be down WR1 as well for their Week 5 matchup with the Green Bay Packers. Jimmy Garoppolo is practicing on Thursday. However, Garoppolo still has not passed the concussion protocol from a brain injury he sustained in Week 3 that ruled him out of their game against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4. Adams suffered a shoulder injury in the Raiders loss to the Chargers. Adams left the game briefly to have his shoulder checked out by the medical staff but returned…

Green Bay Packers Las Vegas Raiders Jimmy Garoppolo

The Las Vegas Raiders provided a concerning update Thursday on the status of starting quarterly Jimmy Garoppolo. The Raiders were without Garoppolo in their loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4 due to a concussion he suffered in Week 3. The Raiders are preparing to play the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football. The game will be pivotal for the 1-3 Raiders to stay in the playoff chase in the early season. But they could have to ask rookie quarterback Aidan O’Connell to step in again. (Davante Adams might like that.) Las Vegas Raiders: Jimmy Garoppolo remains…

Aaron Rodgers didn’t have it in himself to go with grace after the New York Jets’ loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 4. Rodgers took some heat on social media Tuesday after he made a joke on the Pat McAfee Show about Taylor Swift’s new rumored interest, Travis Kelce. On Sunday night, Swift was in attendance in New York for the game between the Jets and Chiefs. The Chiefs won 23-20, but Kelce was not impressed by the Chiefs’ offensive performance. Rodgers didn’t think much of Kelce’s play against the Jets. The Jets’ injured quarterback called Kelce “Mr.…

The Green Bay Packers could have a boost in their secondary this week as one player who missed their Week 4 loss to the Detroit Lions is back to practice Tuesday. The Packers have been without several key starters on offensive and defense to start the season. The Packers should be getting offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins back for their game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football. They could have Alexander back for Week 5 as well. Alexander, who is battling a back injury, did not practice last Wednesday but was limited in practice Thursday and Friday. The…
