Despite a double-digit loss, the Packers had a lot of positives to take away from this loss. PFF graded a few of the Packers’ offensive players very highly. The offense, especially Aaron Rodgers, and the run game looked the best it has all year. They put up 17 points, and while that may not seem like a lot, the Bills’ most points allowed all year was 21.  The Packers’ offense also had a TD taken away due to a questionable OPI penalty against Robert Tonyan (*insert link to play*). LaFleur decided to go for it on 4th and short instead…

Bucks trade target: De'Anthony Melton

The Bucks have needed an all-around shooting guard for a while now. Donte DiVincenzo showed flashes. Forbes was a lights-out shooter but a revolving door on defense. Grayson Allen seemed to be the answer, a lights-out shooter and decent defender, but when the Bucks needed him most, he vanished. De’Anthony Melton presents an exciting option for the Bucks at shooting guard. He was traded from the Grizzlies to the 76ers, meaning he can only be traded by himself or after August 23rd. Below are two possible trades that could get Melton to the Bucks. Trade Option 1: This is my…

Three X-Factors for the Bucks and Celtics

May 1st begins what could become the Bucks’ most brutal series throughout this playoffs. Last season the Bucks had a grueling seven-game series against the Brooklyn Nets, and I expect the series against the Celtics to be the same. Each team is coming off pretty dominant first-round victories, and they had identical records and tied regular-season series (2-2). Who or what will be the X-Factor for either team? Bucks X-Factors Grayson Allen With the confirmation that Khris Middleton will miss the entire Eastern Conference semifinals, all eyes turn to Grayson Allen to pick up the offensive slack. Allen could be…

Jordan Love Trade Value

For about a year now, Jordan Love has been tossed around in trade rumors. No one knows his value, as he has had very limited playtime. Some analysts think Love’s value is, at best, a third-round pick, and others believe that his value could be as high as an early second-round pick. Let’s look at some previous QB trades and the value gotten for them. Jordan Love value comparison Matt Schaub Schaub’s value seems to be closest to what Love’s could be, at least from a 2007 standpoint. Schaub hadn’t had much playing time, only two starts in three years.…

What wide receivers will the Packers sign?

With the NFL free agency finally dying down, it is well-known that the Packers need some wide receivers. Davante Adams left via trade, MVS signed with the Chiefs, and Equanimeous St. Brown signed with a division rival, the Chicago Bears. The Packers will likely go heavy at wide receiver in the upcoming NFL draft, potentially mirroring the 2018 draft approach (three wide receivers were taken). That being said, the wide receivers taken will most likely be drafted earlier than the 4th round. Check out which wide receivers have visited the Packers so far this offseason. There is a lot of…

Mock Draft - All in for Rodgers

The Packers have consistently shied away from drafting offensive skill positions in the first few rounds of the NFL draft. In this mock draft, the Packers finally address their lack of early-round offensive skill position players. This mock draft is all-in on the offense to give Aaron Rodgers more pass catchers (as many of them are free agents this offseason). Using the mock draft simulator from TheDraftNetwork as a base, here is a 7-round mock draft for the Green Bay Packers. Round 1, Pick 28: WR Jahan Dotson (Penn State) 2021 Stats: 91 REC, 1182 yards, 12 TDs. 6 rushes,…

Nakobe Dean

Nakobe Dean could be the perfect ILB prospect for the Packers to focus on in the upcoming draft. The Packers have had problems at the ILB position for nearly a decade until the revelation, DeVondre Campbell arrived. Campbell played so well that he earned 1st-team All-Pro recognition. With an accolade like that under his belt, Campbell will cost a lot of money. With how the Packers cap situation looks and the looming potential contracts of Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams, the Packers may have to let Campbell walk. This makes Nakobe Dean an even more intriguing prospect. About Nakobe Dean…

Jevon Carter signs with the Bucks

The Bucks have signed PG Jevon Carter after being released from the Brooklyn Nets. The signing of Jevon Carter provides the Bucks with some guard depth after the Donte DiVincenzo trade and the injuries to George Hill and Pat Connaughton. What this means for the Bucks George Hill may be further away from a full recovery as once originally thought. With no timetable set for his return, the PG depth behind Jrue Holiday was just Lindell Wigginton. Wigginton has been suitable for the Bucks in his limited playtime, but the Bucks needed to add some veteran PG play for the…

Giannis

The obvious answer here is Giannis, as he shows up in every game and will always be a key player for the Bucks. However, there are three other key players that need to show up in order for the Bucks to repeat. Jrue Holiday isn’t on this list either, as if he struggles to score he still provides elite playmaking and elite defense. The players on this list provide mainly scoring and can be very streaky. Key Player Number 1: Khris Middleton Middleton has been known to be a streaky shooter. When he’s on his game, he looks like…

Where will Rodgers play next season?

After a third straight year of disappointment, Aaron Rodgers’ time on the Packers may be coming to an end. The Packers will be $58.5 million over the cap at the start of the 2022 free agency period. The Packers will be losing many important pieces like Davante Adams, Rasul Douglas, Devondre Campbell, Krys Barnes, and many more. This list only includes free agents. Many other players will have to be cut for the Packers to get under the cap. Among those that could become cap casualties are Za’darius Smith, Preston Smith, Randall Cobb, and Billy Turner. The Packers are looking…
