Packers made some noise Monday involving their roster after Tyler Davis’ injury against the Bengals. In a corresponding move, the Packers have signed Linebacker Marvin Pierre after TE Tyler Davis tore his ACL last week and was put on IR on Monday. Pierre finds himself on this Packers 90-man roster after being undrafted out of Kent State in the 2023 draft. Pierre was very productive during his final college season in 2022. Former Badger center Frank Kaminsky has weighed his options for the next move of his career and has made his decision. Kaminsky announces his new 1-year deal with KK Partizan, a basketball team in Serbia. Kaminsky played eight years in the NBA with the team who drafted him, the Hornets. He also made stops in Phoenix and the Rockets. Kaminsky didn’t really make much of his career in the NBA, the biggest accomplishment of his playing career was the back-to-back Final Four appearances in 2014-2015.
During the second day of practices in Green Bay, emotions ran high as fights broke out between the Packers and Patriots. The Patriots traveled to Green Bay this week for joint practices before their meeting with the pack on Saturday night. Three fights had already broke out between the Packers offense and Patriots defense not ten minutes into practice. Following a dominating 36-19 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, the Green Bay Packers are left to deal with a loss of their own. Packers Tight End Tyler Davis suffered the injury after scoring a touchdown Friday night. Davis went to the sideline reporting a knee injury.
