A former Packers wide receiver gets another chance
The Green Bay Packers have tried a lot of different wide receivers on their practice squad this season. They needed to in the early season as injuries mounted at the position. With Christian Watson, Randall Cobb, and Sammy Watkins more healthy, the team didn’t need as many extra bodies at wide receiver. A former Packers wide receiver the team let go in November is already getting a chance with an AFC team.
According to Aaron Wilson with KPRC, the Jacksonville Jaguars brought in wide receiver Kawaan Baker.

The Packers released Baker two weeks ago. He was signed to the Packers practice squad on October 19th. Baker didn’t make an impact for the Packers on their active roster. However, he now has the opportunity to prove his worth to the Jaguars, who are currently 3-7. Baker could find a good rapport with youthful quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who’s had an up-and-down second year in the NFL.
