The Green Bay Packers are on the brink of a full collapse after their loss to the Detroit Lions. The Packers’ offense managed only nine points against the league’s worst defense. A lot needs to change for this Packers team to be successful moving forward. Today the Packers made a change at wide receiver that won’t necessarily help the team get better, but could be setting themselves up for something else. The Packers have reportedly released WR Kawaan Baker.
Green Bay Packers Release WR Kawaan Baker
Today, the Packers released former New Orleans Saints receiver Kawaan Baker. Baker, a 2021 seventh-round pick out of South Alabama, played 27 special teams snaps over two games for the Saints as a rookie. To start 2022, he was suspended for six games due to a violation of the performance-enhancing substance policy, a suspension he recently finished serving. When Baker’s suspension ran up, the Saints elected to waive him. The Packers signed him to their practice squad on October 19th, 2022.
What does this mean going forward? While the move itself may not be significant, it could open a spot up for someone else. Whether Green Bay wants to pursue a free agent or activate someone else off the practice squad. We will see in the coming days if Green Bay decides to make a move prior to their matchup with the Dallas Cowboys.

There is a world class hurdler that was picked up by Philadelphia eagles after he mistarted in the finals of the world championship. I think
He is on their practice squad. He is also a football player possible wide receiver.
