There have been so many story lines to follow ever since Davante Adams was traded to Las Vegas. This latest one has been just as juicy as any of them. Earlier this week Davante Adams was being interviewed and was asked about the transition from Aaron Rodgers to Derek Carr. His exact response was “Any time you quarterbacks from Hall of Famer to Hall of Famer… it’s going to be a little bit of an adjustment.” Of course the NFL world on social media reacted how you think they would. Davante Adams calling Derek Carr a Hall of Famer and a mentioning him in the same sentence as Aaron Rodgers, got some reactions. Aaron Rodgers heard the stories all week and had the perfect reaction.
Aaron Rodgers’ Comments Today:
Rodgers on going from Davante Adams to Allen Lazard as WR1:
“I mean it’s always tough going from Hall of Famer to Hall of Famer. From Davante to Allen, it’s gonna be a transition, but he’s capable of a lot.”

Just a perfect response to all of the social media reactions that have been ongoing all week long. Clearly Aaron Rodgers doesn’t think that Allen Lazard is currently a Hall of Famer. However Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers have certainly been high on Lazard ever since Adams was traded. They aren’t the only ones to think so. Allen Lazard was also named one of the NFL’s best kept secrets. These types of comments are certainly all in good fun, it is nice to see that Adams and Rodgers have maintained a good relationship after the trade. It’s equally as good that the Packers clearly are fully backing Allen Lazard as the future.
