Aaron Jones had a monster performance against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. Jones carried the ball 24 times, for 138 yards and one touchdown. His production, along with other breakout stars, helped lead the Green Bay Packers to a 31-28 overtime victory. During Jones’ leap into the end zone, he decided to pay tribute to former all-pro running back Marshawn Lynch.

Although Marshawn might be flattered by Jones’ imitation, it is not exactly family friendly to say the least. Lynch put the ‘crotch grab’ celebration on the map back in 2010. He performed the move after his famous ‘beast mode’ run during a playoff game against the Saints. Although, in 2015 he did the same celebration and was fined $20,000 for what was described as a ‘unsportsmanlike gesture.’ Could we see Aaron Jones get fined too?
Aaron Jones Goes “Beast Mode” Against The Cowboys
Aaron Jones has been impressive at times this season. Over his last three games, he has accumulated 300+ rushing yards. He’s had five games this season where he rushed for over 100 yards. Jones currently sits seventh in the NFL in rushing yards, however, he only has two rushing touchdowns this season. Nevertheless, Jones showed up in a big way on Sunday. Jones along with rookie receiver Christian Watson helped provide a spark to a struggling Packers offense.
The Green Bay Packers play their next game on Thursday night against the Tennessee Titans. But if Aaron Jones can duplicate his most recent performance, he will give the Packers a chance to win their second straight game. Currently, the Packers are favored to win by 2.5 points. Can Green Bay improve to 4-6 and make a run at the playoffs?
