The New York Jets are acting like they have Aaron Rodgers
Nothing official from the Green Bay Packers, New York Jets, or the Aaron Rodgers camp has confirmed the star quarterback’s status for the 2023 season. Trey Wingo with ESPN reported Rodgers is a member of the Jets. However, Ian Rapoport with the NFL Network reported nothing has transpired as of this publishing. A new report has given some more clarity about Rodgers’ future.
According to Dianna Russini with ESPN, the Jets are acting in free agency as if Rodgers will be in New York next season.

Rodgers’ decision being made at this point in March can cause stress for teams that are thinking or hoping he might play in their city next season. The Packers and Jets are entering the negotiating phase of free agency before official signings on Wednesday. Some fans and analysts have accused Rodgers of backtracking on his earlier comments that he wouldn’t hold the Packers hostage with his decision this offseason.
