A deal appears to be done for Aaron Rodgers to go to the Jets per Trey Wingo
As the NFL world focuses on free agency with teams being able to negotiate with players on Monday, one of the biggest stories in the league appears to be coming to a conclusion. And it appears as if Aaron Rodgers will leave Green Bay.
Trey Wingo is reporting on Twitter that he’s hearing Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets is a ‘done’ deal here on Monday afternoon. This comes after weeks of speculation and wait on what Rodgers will exactly do.

UPDATE: Both Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo are reporting that the deal is NOT DONE yet for Aaron Rodgers during an NFL Network appearance on Monday afternoon shortly after Wingo’s report

Wingo is the only analyst or reporter with the news so far but he’s been plugged in with the NFL dating back to his days with the NFL.
We will have to wait and see if this does happen sometime today or this week but it does appear that the Rodgers era in Green Bay is about over.
