Giannis Antetokounmpo left Thursday Night’s game vs the Chicago Bulls in the second quarter. It was the Milwaukee Bucks’ final game before the All-Star break, star Forward Giannis Antetokounmpo injured his hand and wrist when attempting to block a layup from Chicago Bulls Guard Coby White. Scheduled to captain one of the All-Star teams during this weekend’s festivities, Antetokounmpo immediately received medical attention and exited the game to the locker room to undergo further treatment. After the game, Mike Budenholzer gave an update for the Bucks’ franchise player. Now Giannis Antetokounmpo spoken openly about his injury for the first time.

It would appear that Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is not one bit worried about his injured wrist. His injury forced him out of Thursday’s game against the Chicago Bulls. When asked on Friday about the fall and his injury, Antetokounmpo played it down and hinted he is doing just fine.
“What fall?” Antetokounmpo responded, per Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “That was yesterday, man. That’s old news. It’s a brand new day, man. A good day to be alive.”
