A.J. Tisdell is now a Badger
The Wisconsin Badgers saw some big defensive signings Wednesday. The Badgers added two four-star defensive backs on the first day of the early signing period for college football. It’s a great start for new head coach Luke Fickell. The Badgers saw another decision coming from cornerback A.J. Tisdell, who committed to Wisconsin in the summer.
According to a statement by Wisconsin Football, Tisdell has signed his NLI with the Badgers.

According to 247 Sports, Tisdell is a three-star athlete. The Texas native is ranked as the 80th-best cornerback for the 2023 class. He’ll be joining a pretty stacked class of defensive backs in Madison. Tisdell chose Wisconsin over offers from Baylor, Colorado State, Buffalo, and California. The Badgers should have plenty of riches coming on the defensive side of this class.
According to Wisconsin Football, Tisdell earned academic all-district honors during his final two years in high school. Here are highlights of Tisdell during his time in high school:
