Amare Snowden is now a Badger
The Wisconsin Badgers officially have a couple of four-star defensive athletes in the 2023 class. Earlier Wednesday, the Badgers announced that four-star safety Braedyn Moore would come to Madison. Not long after, they announced the decision from another big get, Amare Snowden.
According to a statement by Wisconsin Football, the four-star cornerback Snowden has signed his NLI with the Badgers.

This is a huge catch for new head coach Luke Fickell and the Badgers. The secondary’s future looks bright with Moore and Snowden. Per WSH Media files, Snowden initially chose Cincinnati but fielded other offers after Fickell left for Wisconsin:
“Snowden is a composite four-star athlete, per 247 Sports. The Michigan native is ranked as the 44th-best cornerback nationally for the class of 2023. Snowden committed to the Bearcats in June but changed his mind after Fickell left campus. He visited West Virginia on Dec. 9th. Snowden also has the potential to play baseball at the college level.”
Fickell and the Badgers needed this type of recruit to keep momentum building for their 2023 class. According to Wisconsin Football, Snowden earned first-team MHSFCA All-State honors in high school. Here are highlights of the decorated athlete in high school:
