The bye week has come and gone for Wisconsin Football. They will now resume their season beginning Saturday against Rutgers. That game will be at home with an 11 AM kick-off on Peacock.
The Badgers will now play every Saturday for the rest of the regular season. Here are my three predictions for the rest of the season for Wisconsin Football.
Wisconsin Football Prediction #1- The Badgers Only Lose One Game to Ohio State

If there is anything I learned over the course of the Big Ten games yesterday, it’s that Wisconsin has a chance to run away with the Big Ten West if they play the way they are capable of. On the offensive side, they have most talent by far.
A big reason the Badgers were seen as the team to beat was the schedule. Wisconsin Football did get a break avoiding Penn State and Michigan. They do draw Ohio State, but that is a a home game and will be on prime time October 28.
While I think Rutgers could be a sneaky trap game this week, I expect the Badgers to get past the Scarlet Knights, They will give the Buckeyes a game, but I think Ohio State answered some doubters by beating Notre Dame in South Bend.
Wisconsin Football Prediction #2- Tanner Mordecai Accounts for 15 More Touchdowns

The loss of Chez Mellusi is huge for this team. I am not sure if they can fully replace him. It will be up to Braelon Allen to carry a majority of the workload. Expect players like Jackson Acker and Cade Yacamelli to take some snaps too.
Tanner Mordecai has been great with his legs through four games, He has accounted for four rushing touchdowns including two last week against Purdue. He has the ability to escape the pocket when the play is broken.
The passing game is still a work in progress and I think the early bye week was essential to take a step back and see how they can be successful for the rest of the season. However, I think this passing attack will continue to get better and I think Mordecai steps up with the loss of Chez Mellusi, With throwing 72 touchdowns over the last two seasons, he is more than capable doing so.
Wisconsin Football Prediction #3- The Badgers Win the Big Ten West

I think this division is the Badgers to lose. Through five weeks, there isn’t a team in the West that has been impressive on the offensive side. Illinois clearly took a step back. Purdue, Nebraska and Northwestern are rebuilding on that side. Minnesota hasn’t been consistent. Iowa just hasn’t moved the ball on offense all season to this point. Iowa quarterback Cade McNamara did go down with an injury last night. It’s unclear how severe it is.
While Wisconsin Football hasn’t been consistent on either side of the ball themselves, they have still put up 33 points a game and have forced nine turnovers in their last two games. I think their defense is good enough against the offenses in this division and the offense will only get better. They will have to score points though as the defenses in the West division are above average.
