The 2022 NFL Draft is here!  Follow along with this article for all the LIVE updates as each pick is made throughout the first round!  NFL Draft dates: Today (April 28) through Saturday (April 30), NFL Draft times: 8 p.m. ET on Thursday. 7 p.m. ET on Friday. 12 p.m. ET on Saturday.  Channels: ESPN, ABC and the NFL Network.

    Draft Pick #1: Jacksonville Jaguars

    unnamed file 70

The Jaguars select DE Travon Walker, Georgia, with the first overall pick of the NFL Draft!  GM Trent Baalke gets the player he coveted.

    Draft Pick #2: Detroit Lions

    unnamed file 19

The Lions select Michigan DE Aidan Hutchinson with the second pick of the NFL draft!  Dream come true for the Lions and Aidan as he gets to stay close to home.

    Draft Pick #3: Houston Texans

    unnamed file 71

With the third overall pick the Houston Texans take CB Derek Stingley Jr., LSU.  GM Nick Caserio did extensive work on Stingley and the 2019 tape is ridiculous.  Top corner is off the board.

Draft Pick #4: New York Jets

    unnamed file 20

With the fourth overall pick the New York Jets take Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner, CB, Cincinnati.  Gardner played over 1,100 coverage snaps in his college career and did not allow a single touchdown.

Draft Pick #5: New York Giants

    unnamed file 72

With the fifth pick in the 2022 NFL Draft the New York Giants select Kayvon Thibodeaux, DE, Oregon.  Surprising they didn’t take an offensive lineman, but they bolster their defense with this pick.

    Draft Pick #6: Carolina Panthers

    unnamed file 73

With the sixth overall pick the Panthers select OT Ickey Ekwonu, NC State.  Ickey is widely regarded as the safest pick in the draft.  A likely immediate starter at OT.

Draft Pick #7: New York Giants

    unnamed file 20

With the seventh overall pick the New York Giants pick OL Evan Neal, Alabama.  Neal has recorded doubled digit starts at LT, RT, and LG.  One of the most versatile players in the draft.

    Draft Pick #8: Atlanta Falcons

    unnamed file 74

With the eighth pick in the 2022 NFL draft the Falcons pick WR Drake London, USC.  The first wide receiver goes off the board eight picks in.  The 6’4″ WR should pair nicely with TE Kyle Pitts.

    Draft Pick #9: Seattle Seahawks

    unnamed file 21

With the ninth overall pick the Seahawks select OL Charles Cross, Mississippi State.  Protection for their QB of the future, whoever that may be.

Draft Pick #10: New York Jets

    unnamed file 22

With the tenth pick in the 2022 NFL draft the New York Jets take WR Garrett Wilson, Ohio State.  The second wide receiver goes off the board.  A huge playmaker for Zach Wilson.

Draft Pick #11: TRADE: The Washington Commanders Traded #11 to the New Orleans Saints

    unnamed file 23

With the 11th pick the New Orleans Saints traded up to take WR Chris Olave, Ohio State.  One of the best route runners in the draft, and Packers fan favorite is headed to Louisiana.

Draft Pick #12: TRADE: The Minnesota Vikings traded #12 to the Detroit Lions

    unnamed file 75

With the 12th pick the Lions traded up to select WR Jameson Williams, Alabama.  The WR frenzy continues as the top four are off the board.  That has to hurt for the Green Bay Packers.

Draft Pick #13: TRADE: The Houston Texans have traded #13 to the Philadelphia Eagles

    unnamed file 24

With the 13th overall pick the Philadelphia Eagles traded up to take DT Jordan Davis, Georgia.  Davis went viral after his freakish athleticism and he’s the best run stopper in the draft.

    Draft Pick #14: Baltimore Ravens

    unnamed file 76

With the 14th pick the Ravens take S Kyle Hamilton, Notre Dame.  Someone who should be an instant playmaker in the secondary for Baltimore.

    Draft Pick #15: Houston Texans

    unnamed file 21

With the 15th pick the Texans take OL Kenyon Green, Texas A&M.  Green started at four different positions on the offensive line last year.

    Draft Pick #16: Washington Commanders

    unnamed file 1

With the 16th overall pick the Commanders take Jahan Dotson, WR, Penn State.  He is the fifth WR taken in first round.

Draft Pick #17: Los Angeles Chargers

    unnamed file 26

The 17th pick belongs to the Chargers and they take G Zion Johnson, Boston College.  An immediate starter on the interior offensive line.

Draft Pick #18: TRADE: The Philadelphia Eagles have traded pick #18 to the Tennessee Titans

    unnamed file 27

In a block buster trade the Titans trade WR AJ Brown to the Eagles for pick #18 and the Titans immediately take his replacement, WR Treylon Burks, Arkansas.

Draft Pick #19: New Orleans Saints

    unnamed file 77

With the 19th pick the Saints take OT Trevor Penning, Northern Iowa.  A possible Terron Armstead replacement.

    Draft Pick #20: Pittsburgh Steelers

    unnamed file 22

With the 20th pick the Steelers take their potential QB of the future.  Kenny Pickett, QB, Pitt.

Draft Pick #21: TRADE: The New England Patriots traded #21 to Kansas City

    unnamed file 23

The Chiefs take CB Trent McDuffie with the No. 21 overall pick. The knock on McDuffie is his size and length, but he has the kind of production that warrants overlooking those concerns.

Draft Pick #22: Green Bay Packers

    quay1

The #Packers will select Georgia LB Quay Walker with pick No. 22. A late, high-riser for the first round.  A LB who is great against the run will help a defense who has been one of the worst in the league over the last few years.

Draft Pick #23: TRADE: The Baltimore Ravens Traded pick #23 to the Buffalo Bills

    unnamed file 78

The #Bills jump in front of the #Cowboys to select Florida CB Kaiir Elam. More secondary help. Buffalo gave up No. 130 to move up two spots.

    Draft Pick #24: Dallas Cowboys

unnamed file 79The Cowboys will select Tulsa OT Tyler Smith with pick No. 24. Time to get younger up front. Smith plays nasty and is dominant in the run game.

    Draft Pick #25: Baltimore Ravens

    unnamed file 80

The Ravens will select Iowa C Tyler Linderbaum with the No. 25 overall pick. He gets in the first round… and more nasty up front in Baltimore.
Draft Pick #26: TRADE: The Titans have traded with the New York Jets
    unnamed file 24
Slide is over: The #Jets will select Florida State DE Jermaine Johnson with the No. 26 overall pick. Some thought he would go much higher to the Jets, either at 4 or 10. Johnson led the ACC in sacks (11.5) and tackles for loss (17.5) this past season.

Draft Pick #27: TRADE: The Buccaneers have traded with the Jacksonville Jaguars

    unnamed file 81

The Jaguars will select Utah LB Devin Lloyd after trading back into the first-round. An every-down impact player to go along Travon Walker in this draft. Meanwhile, Tampa now has the first pick tomorrow night + 106 and 180.

    Draft Pick #28:

    Draft Pick #29:

    Draft Pick #30:

    Draft Pick #31:

    Draft Pick #32:
