Two Former Wisconsin Badgers made some tackles
Two former Wisconsin Badgers face off in the Super Bowl on Sunday. They made school history along the way. Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Leo Chenal and Philadelphia Eagles linebacker T.J. Edwards represented the Badgers program in a tightly contested game.

Chenal and Edwards both had solid contributions during the game. Chenal finished with six total tackles, one of them being a sack. Edwards had six total tackles, five being solo tackles, and he defended one pass. Those stats from the Former Wisconsin Badgers created a school record.
According to NFL Badgers, Chenal and Edwards set the school record for most tackles in the Super Bowl.

Congratulations to @chenal_leo and @TJEdwards8, who each recorded six tackles in #SuperBowlLVII, setting the #NFLBadgers record for most tackles in a single Super Bowl!#ChiefsKingdom x #FlyEaglesFly— NFL Badgers (@NFLBadgers) February 13, 2023

It was a good way for the Badgers to showcase their defensive program on a national stage. Those two linebackers were the only Badgers playing on the active roster Sunday. However, another former Badger joined Chenal as a Super Bowl winner. Running back Melvin Gordon is on the Chiefs practice squad.
