Aaron Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks that we, or anyone for that matter, has ever seen in the NFL. He is a once-in-a-generation kind of player and the Green Bay Packers have been lucky enough to have him play his entire career thus far with the franchise. However, that could change in the very near future.
All of the recent rumors coming out of Green Bay have been about the franchise and Rodgers looking at parting ways this offseason. It seems more like a when not if situation for a trade to arise.
While Rodgers has put together one of the best quarterback careers of all-time, he has had his major struggles as well. Over the last five years, there is one massive statistic that has come to light that shows how rough things have been for Rodgers and the Packers.
The Most Brutal Aaron Rodgers Statistic
uStadium recently ran down the list of quarterback playoff wins over the last five years. Rodgers has just two wins, which is insane considering how good the Packers have been as a whole in the regular season. Some of the quarterbacks ahead of him on the list really brings a sobering thought to Packers’ fans about what could have been.
It has become a running joke that the Packers will be one of the best teams in the regular season and then fall flat in the playoffs. Mostly, they have struggled when playing against the San Francisco 49ers in the playoffs.
Unfortunately, this season the Packers were unable to even get into the playoffs. With a great chance at a win-and-in situation at Lambeau Field in Week 18, the Packers fell to the division rival Detroit Lions. That loss was an all-time low for Rodgers and the Packers, and could be a big part of the reason the two sides could part ways.

Should the Packers look to trade Rodgers, there are a handful of teams that would make sense as a potential destination. Among those teams are the New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts, and Seattle Seahawks. There are other teams that need quarterbacks that could have interest in swinging a blockbuster trade for Rodgers as well.
If we have indeed seen the last of Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay, there is one big thing that will stick out. That would be the lack of playoff success and how many opportunities to win a second Super Bowl have slipped through the fingers of Rodgers and the Packers.
Expect the upcoming offseason to be one full of drama and rumors. The Packers and their fans have become used to drama surrounding Rodgers, but this offseason all of that drama could come to a head with a trade finally happening. Either way, Green Bay has been blessed to watch Rodgers play for all of these years.
