The Milwaukee Bucks have some big decisions to make in the offseason. For one, they will need to decide on which of their unrestricted free agents to keep and which ones they will need to let go.
Malik Beasley, Patrick Beverley, and Jae Crowder are the three names that could walk away this summer, and given their current financial situation, it does not appear as though the Bucks will not be able to retain the services of all three players for the upcoming season.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Taking Malik Beasley Over Patrick Beverley
According to Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report, the choice comes down between Beasley and Beverley. The analyst argues that Crowder hasn’t really been able to establish himself as a key part of the rotation during his time with the Bucks, meaning that he should be the odd man out among the three.
Buckley goes on to argue that between Beasley and Beverley, he would much rather go for the former:
This makes a lot of sense. In an ideal world, the Bucks would probably want to keep both Beasley and Beverley. Pat Bev is no star, but he brings so much to the table beyond his basketball skills.
Be that as it may, in terms of fit alongside the team’s core superstars, it does seem like Beasley has to be the more logical choice.
