Packers in the hunt for potential trade at wide receiver
Hours before the trade deadline, the Houston Texans held their Tuesday practice as the team gets ready for their Thursday Night Football game this week. Noticeably absent was a wide receiver rumored to be on the trade market. The Packers have come up in conversations revolving around a potential trade for Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks.
Per multiple reports, Cooks was not seen at the Texans walkthrough on Tuesday. The walkthrough happened just hours before the trade deadline on 4 pm EST Tuesday. Brooks Kubena with the Houston Chronicle reported Cooks was not at practice as of 12:09 pm.

Cooks might not be traded
Cooks would be an ideal trade for multiple teams. The former first-round draft pick has had a lot of success with various teams in the NFL. Cooks has recorded 1,000 yards receiving with four teams.
According to Ian Rapoport, the Texans were taking phone calls for Cooks. But a deal was not imminent around 12:30 pm.

There is still time for the Packers to make a deal. Although, Cooks might not be the wide receiver they trade for as he has a heavy price tag. If the Packers do not pull the trigger this afternoon, the 3-5 could make a move in free agency.
