The Wisconsin football staff has been eagerly recruiting the transfer portal currently in hopes of adding plenty of talent for next season.
Among the players Wisconsin has been interested in, a former three-star Michigan State wide receiver is at the top of their list. Tyrell Henry, a former three-star recruit in the 2022 recruiting class, entered the transfer portal after the Spartans finished 4-8 this season. Henry has been a big name in the portal since entering, but the Badgers have been the primary school in contact thus far.
Wisconsin Football Eyeing Commitment From Talented Transfer Portal Receiver Tyrell Henry

There is no doubt that after struggling through the 2023 season, the Wisconsin football staff wants to revamp their team once again. Following the hiring of Head Coach Luke Fickell, plenty of recruits and transfers were brought into Madison. However, the season did not unfold the way the team or the staff had wished, which brings the Badgers back into the portal once again.
The Badgers have been after a receiver following the announcement from veteran leader Chimere Dike regarding his entrance into the transfer portal. The first, and primary, target within the transfer portal for Wisconsin has been the versatile receiver Tyrell Henry.

Henry was originally a three-star recruit in the 2022 recruiting class and sat as the 19th player overall in the state of Michigan. After visiting Michigan State, Henry announced his commitment shortly after and chose to stay in-state. While Henry has no prior connections to Madison, he did receive an offer from Coach Fickell and his staff at Cincinnati.
In his first season of play as a Freshman, Henry was primarily a returner for the Michigan State Spartans and also downed a handful of punts. This past season however, Henry began to carve out a more serious role in the offense as he recorded three touchdowns and 24 receptions.
Henry has proven himself to be a quick, shifty receiver who has plenty of ways to get past opponents. The 6-foot, 175-pound receiver could be quite the versatile option to have for the Wisconsin Badgers football team.
Can the Wisconsin Badgers Football Staff Land Tyrell Henry?

At this point in time, Wisconsin football seems to be in the lead in the race for the commitment of Henry. Henry has already visited campus and had the chance to meet with the Wisconsin staff. The receiver also posted pictures of him in a Badgers uniform to X following his recent visit.
If the Wisconsin football staff is able to land Henry, that could provide another offensive boost to the team after losing some of their top options.
