Ian Miletic, a 2025 forward from Illinois, has been a rising recruit in the 2025 recruiting class. The Wisconsin basketball staff was lucky enough to host the recruit during their recent loss against the Purdue Boilermakers. Despite the loss, Miletic enjoyed his visit and claimed to have enjoyed the atmosphere of the game in Madison the most.
Wisconsin Basketball Battles Purdue Boilermakers With Intriguing Forward Ian Miletic In Attendance
During their recent home game against the Boilermakers, the Wisconsin basketball staff invited one of their fastest rising 2025 recruits to watch. 2025 forward Ian Miletic was in attendance for the game as the Badgers struggled to pull out a win against the second-ranked team in the country. Despite the loss, Miletic still enjoyed his visit and enjoyed his first look at the environment a Wisconsin basketball home game brings.
The Illinois native Miletic is a dynamic wing that offers plenty of versatility on the court. While Miletic can easily score from all three levels, the forward is also an accomplished defender both outside and inside. On the interior Miletic still needs to gain some size to compete at the next level, but his instincts and movements helps the forward get by.
Wisconsin Badgers Basketball Staff Working with Multiple Rising Recruits
While the Wisconsin basketball team is having plenty of success on the court, off the court the staff is eagerly looking for recruits in the 2025 and 2026 classes. Miletic is a rising recruit the Badgers have kept their eye on for quite some time, but there is also another rising recruit that has gained plenty of attention from Wisconsin basketball.
Three-star 2025 center Will Garlock has also been a fast riser in his recruiting class, and has been in contact with the Wisconsin basketball staff for nearly a year. Wisconsin loves his size and versatility, which is similar to why they began recruiting Miletic.
Can the Wisconsin Basketball Staff Land Miletic in the Future?
The recruitment of Miletic has pretty much just begun, as the forward has only spoken to Wisconsin, Marquette, and Illinois thus far. Miletic is still rising in the rankings, and likely will find his way into most databases before too long. Wisconsin basketball will need to be in it for the long haul to land Miletic in the future as the forward will likely take his time before committing.
