The undefeated Wisconsin Badgers volleyball team will finish their non-conference schedule when they head to Florida in what should be a test against the No. 3 ranked Gators. On Sunday, one of these teams will walk away with their undefeated record broken, and by all accounts, it’ll be a record-breaking crowd.

Wisconsin Badgers Volleyball by the Numbers
The Badgers had a match at Marquette where they were able to walk away with a hard-fought victory. Wisconsin has brought the crowds with them wherever they’ve traveled and is now responsible for the top two indoor crowds in NCAA history.
They’re coming off a season-low .244 hitting percentage and will need a better offensive game if they want to take down the Gators. The Gators are in the same boat, coming off a match against Florida State, where they hit .276 in 5 sets to secure their own victory.
Even still, the Wisconsin Badgers hold a .311 hitting percentage, which leads the Big Ten. With opponents hitting .194 against the Gators, it looks like an unstoppable force in the Badgers volleyball offense will be meeting an immovable object in the Gators’ defense.
The Badgers will look for Junior Julia Orzol to lead their defense after coming off a stellar match with 23 digs against Marquette. While she might not lead the Big Ten in any categories or show up in the top ten, her 3.43 digs per set sits just outside the top ten. Couple Orzol’s versatility with middle blocker Carter Booth’s 3rd-best 1.40 blocks per set, and this defense should be able to hold off the Florida Gators and continue their impressive run.
