Wisconsin Badgers volleyball has become a spectacle whether on the road or at home. With their dominant play and four years straight of winning the Big Ten crown, it’s easy to see why people come out to see the Badgers play.
When they played the Arkansas Razorbacks, a record-setting crowd of 4,299 showed up to watch them. This beat the previous record by over 1,000 fans. It’s easy to see why they drew the largest crowd ever for indoor women’s sports crowd in Wisconsin and the largest NCAA indoor regular season match at 17,037.

An Undefeated Streak for Badgers Volleyball
The Badgers are off to an 8-0 start, and there are plenty of milestones being reached. Senior Sarah Franklin crossed the 1,000 kill mark in their win over Marquette on Wednesday evening. Izzy Ashburn also became the ace-queen of the Wisconsin Badgers with her two aces.
It’s dominant play that has Coach Kelly Sheffield believing that they’re inspiring people to come out and see them on the court: “We want to be a program that inspires our fan base to cheer for us and be a level of team that we’re inspirational for our opponent’s fan base that they want to show up.”
The Wisconsin Badgers Schedule Ahead
The No. 1 ranked Badgers volleyball is slated to play Florida on Sunday to finish out their non-conference slate. The Gators may be looking to shatter an attendance record that’s stood since 1994, and the Badgers might just give it the juice it needs to get there.
