The winds of change are coming to Wisconsin Badgers hockey this season as the team sets out on its 75th season. The full slate of games has been released with the announcement of the 2023-24 schedule by the Big Ten Conference office. Under the helm of Mike Hastings, Badgers hockey will look to get back to its winning ways.

This season’s schedule is a battleground of rivalries and high-stakes showdowns. A formidable eight matchups are slated against 2023 NCAA Frozen Four participants, showcasing the Badgers’ readiness to take on the best of the best right out of the gate. An impressive 18 games await against teams that graced the 2023 NCAA Tournament, adding an extra layer of intensity and competition.
As winter weather takes over for Wisconsin, the Badgers will start to see their home slate really get going. With 14 out of the 18 home games scheduled after Thanksgiving, fans can expect to spend a lot of time at the Kohl’s Center this holiday season.
The Season Beginning for Badgers Hockey
The Badgers kick off the season on October 7-8 when they square off against Augustana, marking the 75th season for the Badgers. Other notable matchups include the Badgers hosting Michigan on November 3-4 and their Big Ten opening series against Minnesota on October 26-27th. The Spring match-ups will bring Minnesota and Notre Dame into the fold.
