The Wisconsin Badgers football program is putting the finishing touches on its 2024 recruiting class. As the final recruits on the board announce their decisions, head coach Luke Fickell is looking ahead to the 2025 class. Recently, the son of a notable NFL wide receiver received a scholarship offer from the Badgers.

2025 wide receiver Eugene Hilton Jr. receives scholarship offer from Wisconsin football
Eugene Hilton Jr. announced a scholarship offer from UW. He said, “After a GREAT conversation with [Director of Recruiting] Pat Lambert [and wide receivers coach] Mike Brown, I’m thankful to announce I’ve received an offer from Badger Football!”

A three-star recruit, according to the 247Sports Composite, Hilton shows impressive hands and an ability to find open space in zone coverage. Standing at six-foot-one-inch and 175 pounds, the Zionsville (Indianapolis-area) native is the 46th-ranked wide receiver and fourth-ranked player from Indiana in his class.
The wideout holds 17 scholarship offers. Among other power conference programs, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, Ole Miss, Purdue, and West Virginia have offered.
The Wisconsin Badgers football recruiting target is the son of NFL wide receiver T.Y. Hilton. T.Y., an 11-year NFL veteran, spent ten seasons with the Indianapolis Colts. One of the best receivers in Colts history, Hilton boasts the third-most receptions, receiving yards, and receiving yards per game in franchise history. He is also top-five in receiving touchdowns and receptions per game.

Wisconsin football has one commitment in its 2025 recruiting class. Landyn Locke, younger brother of current Badger Braedyn Locke, is UW’s first commitment in the 2025 class. Currently unranked by major recruiting services, the six-foot-three-inch, 180-pound signal-caller has tremendous upside.
